Warranty Guidelines:
We offer a 50-year conditional warranty, which excludes seed, sod, or grass, as well as specific conditions like floods, erosion, sediment from erosion clogging drain fields or pipes, and debris from gutters or downspouts.
FDS of Columbia states that if there is water standing directly over the French drain area for more than 24 hours after rainfall, it indicates an issue. Please call or email us with a brief description of the affected area for assessment.
We provide erosion control services such as sod-seeding, decorative rock, erosion fabric, and mulching to help preserve and protect our drainage systems. Customers have the option to perform these services independently. For our warranty to take effect, we must inspect the area where erosion control measures were implemented by the customer after completion. Please contact us via phone or email to schedule this inspection. If sod or seed dies, or if there are landscaping changes, please reach out so we can provide suggestions and ensure drainage is protected. Neglecting to do so may lead to a loss of warranty.
Any changes or damage to the drain or drain areas, including but not limited to grading around the drain, tie-ins from other pipes or drains not performed by FDS, or damage from mechanical equipment, fires, storm damage, flood damage, etc., can result in loss of warranty and/or warranty privileges.
